Richard Thomas Conner, 68, of Penn Hills, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018. He was the beloved son of the late Robert E. Conner and Elizabeth A. (Malburg) Conner; and brother of the late Ronald Robert Conner. He is survived by his sister in-law, Ellen (Davidson) Conner, and nephews, Eric and Isaac Conner of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by Aunt Jane and Uncle Jack Conner, and Aunt Clara Conner. Richard had 27 cousins living across several states. Richard grew up in Friendship before moving to Penn Hills. He worshiped at St. James Catholic Church in Wilkinsburg. Richard thoroughly enjoyed life and the music of the '60s and '70s, especially the Beatles. He loved meeting new people, chocolate milkshakes and cheering for all the Pittsburgh sports teams. He worked for The Pennysaver for several years and he was involved with many activities and employment opportunities arranged by Achieva. Special thanks to Roberta Simpson, Michael Schwartz, Callawe Bey and others who kindly cared for Richard for many years.

Friends and relatives will be received from 9 a.m. until an 11 a.m. blessing service Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont. Private interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Penn Hills.
