A memorial service for Wesley Ralph Henderson Sr., 86, of Decatur will be Sun., Aug. 23, at 2 p.m. at Tunsel Road Baptist Church with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Sun., Aug. 23, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Henderson died Sun., Aug. 16, 2015, at River City Center in Decatur. He was born Sept. 3, 1928, in Morgan County to Ben Henderson and Gracie Allen Henderson. Mr. Henderson retired after 30 years of working as an Oiler for Prestolite. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Sandford Henderson and his parents.

He is survived by a son, Ralph Henderson; two daughters, Linda Dempsey and Carol Henderson; three brothers, Sherman Henderson, Jack Henderson and Jimmy Henderson; a sister, Shelby Brackins; four grandchildren, Jason Dempsey, Catherin LeBlanc, David Henderson and Jacob Henderson; and four great-grandchildren.
