Sammy graduated from Tuscumbia High School in 1984. He enjoyed time with family and friends, music, cooking, being outdoors, and much more.
Preceded in death by his father Brice Gabbard, mother Linda (Bilyeu) Loethen, maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
Survived by Lori Patterson (WIll Chase), Brice Gabbard (Theresa), Harley Gabbard all of Brazito, Calvin Gabbard (Jeanne) of Barnett, and Lula Rivera (Angel) of Batesville, Ind., 6 nephews, 7 nieces, 10 great newphews, and nine great nieces.
Family and friends re invited to jois us at 10 a.m. Saturday September 22, at the old Fairway grocery store parking lot in Eugene to escort Sammy to his final resting place at Mt. Zion (New) Cemetery in Tuscumbia. Burial will be at noon Saturday Sept. 22 2018. Donations can be made to the family of Sammy Joe Gabbard.
