Linda F. Mays, a resident of Jasper, Alabama was born on June 6, 1947 and she passed away peacefully on September 19, 2018 at the age of 71. She loved her puppies; Prissy, Missy, White-socks, Precious and Pinky. She enjoyed gardening and solving puzzles. She liked to play tennis and the French horn, and she taught herself how to play the piano like her father. Linda was a loving and caring person who loved her family dearly and cherished all the time she was able to spend with them. She will be greatly missed.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Pierce Nichols and Mary Elizabeth Acton and one sister, Donnie Young.

Linda is survived by three children by her previous husband of 49 years, Roger Mays; one son, John Mays (Kim); and two daughters, Susie Mays and Judy Crawford (Jerrald Goodgame); six brothers, Donald Nichols, Paul Nichols (Pearl), Charlie Nichols (Martha), Billy Acton (Brenda), Ricky Acton (Beverly), and Ray Joe Nichols (Reba); two sisters, Reba Holcomb(Jerome) and Bonnie Gay Nichols; twelve grandchildren, Paul Mays (Jamie), Joshua Mays, Scott Mays, Breanna Johnston, Christopher Crawford, Bradly Crawford, Destiny Mays, Michael Goodgame, Drake Mays, Emily Mays (Cody McGill) , Dylan Baker, and Cody Fuller; eight great grandchildren, Preston Johnston, Noah Mays, Cannon McGill, Landon Roberts, Luke Roberts, Brandon Roberts, Jaybree Pilling, and Myla Fuller, many other family members and a host of friends.
