Mrs. A. J. Barrow, ALA Janie/Jennie Arrington Barrow has a CSA pension application online in the GA Archives. She gives proof of marriage to William T Barrow on Feb. 8, 1870. She says he enlisted in Buena Vista, Marion County, GA with Co. E. of the GA Militia, 6th GA militia. At the surrender he was home wounded. But he died on 6 April 1895 in Macon County, GA. Proof of her own death is included as well as her death certificate. She died May 16, 1939, and her parents were James Jackson Arrington and Elizabeth Peebles.
