Kenneth Raymond “Ken” Reeves, age 63, of Hindsville, Arkansas died Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in Springdale.

He was born March 12, 1955 in Yakima, Washington, to Chester S. and Marie (McKinney) Reeves.

He married Judy VanZandt on March 5, 1971 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Ken was a member of both the Masonic Lodge and Shriners. He was also a volunteer firefighter with Piney Point Fire Department.

He and his wife owned and operated Phillips Trash Service.

Ken was always happy and whistling, generous and kind, and above all devoted to his family.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Larry Chester Reeves.

He is survived by his his mother; his wife of 47 years; a daughter, Shannon Passmore (and husband, Bryan); and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 24, 2018 at Mount Zion Free Will Baptist Church in Hindsville.

Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Rock Creek Cemetery near Marshall, in Searcy County.

Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home of Springdale.
