Cynthia Ann (Keen) Bell, 58, Republic, passed from this life on Monday, May 7, 2007, in her home. She was born January 7, 1949, in Walnut Grove, Missouri, the daughter of Carl Albert and Ruby Maude (Pool) Keen. Cynthia was united in marriage to Frank Edward Bell on December 6, 1975. A restaurant cook, she was of the Assembly of God faith, and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing video games, and reading.

Her parents; a brother; two sisters; and a close friend, Kay Shipman, preceded Cynthia in death.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Frank, Republic; five sons, Larry Hicks and wife, Kathy, Christopher Bell and wife, Tayna, all of Springfield, Wesley Scott Hicks, Republic, Carl Bell, Billings, and David Bell, Marionville; a daughter, Ruby Branson and husband, James, Halfway; eight grandchildren, Iliza Branson, Jami Branson, Danielle Hauswirth, Dalton Hicks, Katelyn Bell, Laura Roluf, Nichole Bell, and Jaxon Bell; three brothers; five sisters; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2007, in Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, with Rev. Steve Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove.
