CARTY, ALICE, 77. of Clearwater, died Tuesday (Feb. 9, 1993) at Sunset Nursing Home, Clearwater, Florida. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and came here in 1986 from Stamford, Connecticut. She was a teacher, a member of Light of Christ Catholic Church, Clearwater, and a founder of Chappaqua Friends Nursery School. Survivors include her husband, Frederick; four sons, Dennick Skeels, Ohio, Richard Skeels, New Hampshire, Ralph Skeels, New Jersey, and Robert Skeels, Illinois; a daughter, Maggie Gardner, New York; and 12 grandchildren.
