Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Phillips will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Rush Funeral Home, Kinder, with Reverend Pam Sharpton officiating. Interment will follow in Kinder McRill Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Kinder.
Mrs. Phillips, 91, of Kinder, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Allen Parish Hospital in Kinder, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Florence McGee and her husband, Lloyd Phillips.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one son, Mark Phillips, of Kinder; three daughters, Brenda Young, of Kinder, Rebekah Bertrand and her husband, Paul, of Kinder and Lesley Harst and her husband, Raymond, of Lafayette; two brothers, Jesse McGee, of Vidor, TX. and Roger McGee and his wife, Cheri, of Oregon; one sister, Barbara Tate, of Nederland, TX.; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
