Brother of the late Elroy Smith. Grandfather of Jennifer Elizabeth Butler, Christine Lily Butler and Matthew Edward Weeden. Great-grandfather of Caleb Clarence Sims.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Madisonville. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
