Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Edith Patterson, age 83, will be held on Monday February 20, 2012 at 2 PM in the chapel of Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home with Pastor Seth Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Gibson Co. Memory Gardens at Gibson, TN. Visitation will be on Sunday Feburary19, 2012 from 4:30 until 8:30 PM and on Monday February 20, 2012 beginning at 9 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Patterson a seamstress and member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Humboldt passed away on Saturday February 18, 2012 at Jackson General Hospital.
Mrs. Patterson is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Fordy Patterson ,her parents Montie Morris and Magie Nola (Younger) Patterson, and a brother Montie Patterson.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by two daughters Linda Harris of Trenton and Norma Butler of Humboldt; four sons Jimmy Patterson of Union City, Johnny Patterson of Humboldt, Montie Patterson of Humboldt, and Joe Patterson of Milan; two sisters Loudene Tucker and Rubye Southall both of Jackson; twenty grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
