Leslie Lianne (Haverstein) Bowers, 73, of Camp Hill, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 at her residence. She was the loving wife of Harold Bowers. Born on February 22, 1945 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late John T. and Merlo A. (Maretz) Haverstein.
Leslie worked for Dayton Parts in the accounts receivable department for many years. She belonged to Shiremanstown United Methodist Church. She was a Cedarette as a member of the Tall Cedars. She had a love for all animals, especially for her dog Lakota.
Leslie is survived by her husband Harold; daughters, Traci Constantine and husband Craig, Stacey Snyder and husband Andrew, Nichole Zito and husband Joe, Penny Myers and Lori Baney and husband Randy, Scott Garis and wife Kristie; brothers, Michael Haverstien and wife Dorothy and Louis Berger and wife Gerry; grandchildren, Leanna Schroff and Thomas Collins; great grandson, Keith Schroff. She was predeceased by grandson, Scott Garis Jr.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Ronald C. L. Smith Funeral Home, 325 N. High Street, Duncannon, PA 17020. A viewing will be held before services from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Newport Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Leslie’s memory to, Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way #270, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
