Wallace L. Wright, 90, of Moorhead, Minnesota, died on Monday, September 10, 2018, in his home.

Wallace LeRoy Wright was born May 19, 1928, the son of William and Ruby (Wadekamper) Wright, in Moorhead, Minnesota. He was raised in Moorhead where he attended school. On July 23, 1948, Wallace was united in marriage to Flora Wagner in Moorhead where they established their home. He worked at Red River Hardware for a number of years before owning and operating a saw sharpening business.

He enjoyed gardening and raising pigeons.

Wallace is survived by his wife of 70 years, Flora; daughters, Judith (Bill) Hatch, Browerville, MN, and Kay Fike, Mapleton, ND; sons, Leroy Wright and Stanley Wright, both of Moorhead; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Janice; brother, Lawrence; and sisters, Myrtle Burton and Florence Knorr.
