Jack Kimsey Coleman, 77, of Old Fort, TN passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at his home. A native of Murphy, NC, he was born June 4, 1941 to the late Charles and Mary Coleman. Jack graduated from Murphy High School in 1959 and received a BS degree from North Carolina State University, School of Forestry in Raleigh in 1965. He retired in 1998.
Jack was a member of Masonic Lodge #672 of Robbinsville, NC and a 37 year member of First Baptist Church of Benton and member of Gideon’s International.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Coleman McCurry who died December 28, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sue Webster Coleman; twin sisters, Marilyn Hartness and Mildred Pullium, both of Murphy, NC.
Funeral services were at First Baptist Church of Benton with Dr. Robbie Speights officiating.
