Steve was born on November 26, 1962, in Miami, Florida. He moved to Interlachen, Florida, with his family at age 13 where he completed his education. He held a number of positions in the retail field. More recently, Steve achieved success as a paralegal, with his friend Ron Baker in his company called Prisoner Connections.
Steve is survived by his wife, Sandra; his children, James (and spouse Kelly), Sean, Steven, and Jennifer Johnson (and spouse Mitchell); grandson, Mason; sisters, Kathy Davis (and spouse Lou) and Patty Keiffer (and spouse Sam); and brother, Tom Kennedy; niece, Jessie Kennedy; nephews, Tony DeVita and Michael Keiffer.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Kennedy; and his sister, Joy Kennedy.
Steve is being cremated, and his family and friends held a remembrance gathering on Sunday, September 16, 2018. His family paid this tribute to Steve: 'Steve will be forever remembered for his quick wit and unsurpassed sense of humor. He was famous for the birthday 'poems' he regaled his family members with.'
