Mr. Russell Thomas Bryan, 79, passed away, Saturday, September 15, 2018 at home with his family. He was born in Hillsboro, Tennessee on November 23, 1938 to Lloyd Buford Bryan and Hazel Pearl Thomas Bryan who preceded him in death along with his brothers, James Robert, Eugene and Rogers Bryan.

He was a member of the Forest Mill Church of Christ and a US Army veteran. He had served as a Alderman (2012 - 2016) for the city of Manchester and served on the Manchester City Water Board for 20 years. He was retired from AEDC.

He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Ring Bryan; daughter, Sheila (Ty) Proffitt; son, Russ (Rachael) Bryan; brother, Doug (Linda) Bryan; sisters, Jane Chambers, Betty (James) Wilhelm and Brenda (Duffy) Cribbs; grandchildren, Hayden and Elizabeth Proffitt and Jonathan and Kate Bryan; several loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday in the Central Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers, Mike Lewis and Ralph Hart officiating along with Military Honors with burial to Follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
