A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday at Woodlawn Cemetery. Richard was born August 31, 1934 in Pilot Knob, MO to Charles Benton and Frances Grace (Jahnsen) Pruitt. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Beverly Pruitt; son, Neil Pruitt (Judy); two sisters, Janet Gay Walton, Sharon Diane Welker (Kenneth); five grandchildren, Andrea Naylor (Rodney), Neely Crist, Jason Pruitt (Kelly), Sean Pruitt (Katie), Lindsay Banda (Mario); and eleven great grandchildren.
