She is survived by her husband, Josh Martin, of Monmouth; children Maxwell and Emerson Martin; her mother, Hope (Bill) Notz of Roseville; two brothers, Brian (Amy) Huston of Roseville and Rick (Shawnee) Huston of Roseville; grandmother Mary Worthington; step-grandmother Carmella Notz; mother and father-in-law, Tony and Rosemary Martin; and nieces and nephews, Leighton, Sully, Emrick, Noah, Maggie and Corey Sprout.
She was preceded in death by her father, (Robert Huston); and stepbrother, Billy Notz.
Melissa loved to help people. She was selfless and was known as "Mama Mel" to so many kids. She worked at Wells Fargo and the collection manager at OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Monmouth. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at the Wise Family Funeral Home in Roseville. Burial will be in the Roseville Township Cemetery in Roseville.
