He was born August 22, 1962 in Gloversville, the son of the late Clarence Brown and Estelle Baker.
He was employed as a Frame Operator by Lee Dye Textile Inc. of Gloversville for over 20 years. Gene also operated a Saw Mill for several years.
One of Gene’s many life accomplishments was building his dream home on East Caroga Lake.
Gene loved collecting antiques, going to garage sales and auctions (#240), taking boat rides with his family, and most of all spending time with his puppies.
Gene is survived by a daughter; Amber Baker (Mo Conte), two sons; David (Brittany) Baker, and Michael Baker, a brother; James (Cheri) Baker, three granddaughters; Georgia Baker, Olyvia DeRocker, Claire Conte, two grandsons; Zander Baker and Landon DeRocker, along with several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
