Mary Ellen (Farmer) McNabb, age 68, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018, three days after her 49th wedding anniversary. She was born and raised in Lenoir City but spent years in Pascagoula, MS., where she was a member of First Baptist Church there. Mary was a member of First Baptist Church of Lenoir City. She loved her family and was proud of her grandkids. She loved being back on her family farm, gardening, canning, freezing and making jellies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy J. Farmer and Bonnie Mae (Wheeler) Farmer of Lenoir City.
She is survived by her brother Howard Farmer, sister Anna Lou Tindell, her loving husband, Mitchell Lynn McNabb, children Michael Lynn McNabb and Mark Lee McNabb, grandchildren Abigail Grace McNabb, Lydia Claire McNabb, Lindsay Beth McNabb and new twins Carson Roy McNabb and Cameron Lynn McNabb.
Mary’s family will receive friends on Thursday, September 20 from 6 PM - 7PM at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City, with funeral to follow at 7 PM. Dr. Dick DeMerchant officiating. Mary’s graveside service and interment will be Friday, September 21. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 AM and proceed Loudon County Memorial Gardens for 11 AM graveside services.
