Her graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Park Lawn Cemetery in Danvers. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Irene was born in rural Bloomington on January 22, 1919 a daughter to Julius and Nellie Staubus Kaufman. She married Robert H. Nafziger in Danvers in June of 1954. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Surviving is her son, Rex (Linda) Nafziger; two grandchildren, Tyler Nafziger and Celeste (Danny) Skirvin; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: infant son,
Howard; two sisters; and three brothers.
Irene graduated from Heyworth High School and was a homemaker.
