Donna was born in Evansville, Indiana on February 24, 1951 to the late Floyd and Vivian (Cooper) Woodruff. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1966 and worked at the Evansville State Hospital as a Registered Nurse. Donna was a member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Amaranth, DAVA, and the Red Hat Society. She was president of Indiana State Employees Association (ISEA), UAW and was on the board and was a coach for the Special Olympics. Donna attended church at Faith Freewill Baptist Church and Cypress Grove Church in Chandler. She enjoyed cooking, socializing, dinning out and music. Donna always volunteered her time, was a devoted mother, grandmother, very caring, giving and selfless, always fixing her plate last so everyone would have enough to eat. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
