John L. Fenner, age 60. Late of Lowell, Indiana formerly of Thornton, Illinois. Passed away September 4, 2018. Beloved husband of Kathy (nee Peters) for 32 years. Loving father of Zack, Chuck, and Leah Fenner. Dearest brother of William (Joyce), Thomas (Jennifer), Joseph, the late Mary Fenner, and the late Peggy (Don) Watts. Dear brother in law of Frank (Juanita) Peters, Claudia White, David Peters, and Ellen (Tim) Fishel. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. John is also survived by many cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Fred and Betty Fenner and in-laws Frank and Doris Peters. John was a retired Ironworker Local Union #1. He was a longtime devoted figure in all Lowell sports programs from volunteering, to coaching, refereeing, and announcing. John was a dear friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
