Daniel Norris Sparks, age 86, of Russellville, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 15, 2018.
Mr. Sparks was a member of the Belgreen Church of Christ and the Franklin County Cattle Association. He had worked at Ford for twenty years and then worked at Tiffins for eleven years, before retiring and enjoying time with his family.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jackie Richardson and Bro. Haskel Sparks officiating the service. Burial will be at Belgreen Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen & Annie (Willis) Sparks; brother, Billy Sparks; first wife, Vernie Wade Sparks; and granddaughter, Brittany Sparks.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 57 years, Helen Childers Sparks; sons, Danny Sparks (wife, Sandy), Randy Sparks (wife, Dina), Greg Sparks; grandchildren, Brandon (Lisa), Crystal (Jonathan), Chase, Justin, Caitlin, Tucker, Ryan; great-grandchildren, Madelyn, McKenzy, Landon, Brynn, Luke; brother, Jimmy Sparks; sister, Mary Ann Fulmer; two nieces and two nephews.
The pallbearers will be Brandon Sparks, Chase Sparks, Justin Sparks, Tucker Sparks, Jonathan Bickerstaff, Tony Horton, Stephan Sparks, and Phillip Sparks.
