"OBITUARY - Mary J Marsh, relict of the late J J Marsh and mother of O J Marsh and Mrs M Stewart, died at 7 o'clock Sunday evening at her home, 23 West Main street, of a complication of diseases, at the age of 65 years. The deceased had been a resident of this city for thirty-six years and was highly respected by everyone. Her husband died ten years ago. She was taken ill about six months ago and though her sufferings at times were intense she bore them with Christian patience and uncomplainingly. Mrs Marsh was a consistent member of the Universalist church. A brother, M E Matthews, of Pittsburg, and one sister, Mrs B D Dutton, of this city, also survive the deceased. Mr Matthews has been notified of his sister's demise and, with his wife, will arrive in the city today. The funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from her late home. The interment will be at Woodlawn and will be private."
