Vincent began his education in the Trenton School System. He attended Trenton Elementary School and Peabody High School. He later attended North College Hill High School in Cincinnati, OH where he excelled on the football field. Vincent obtained his General Education Development Diploma on February 27, 1995.
Vincent had the distinction of being the first African-American youth to hit 3 homeruns in the Little League Baseball Game in Gibson County. Vincent had a brief career in factory work prior to his unfortunate incarceration.
Vincent grew up in the church and professed Christ as his Savior. Although he never formally became a member of any denomination, he attended First Baptist Church and Martin Tabernacle Church.
Vincent married Bobbie Jean Johnson on December 8, 1986 and to that union one child was born, Caprice Tyrell Anderson.
After a lengthy illness, Vincent surrendered to the Master’s call and began his season of eternal rest on Thursday, September, 13, 2018 at 8:58am.
Vincent was a devoted father, brother, grandfather and nephew. He leaves to mourn his memories his son, Caprice Anderson; a stepson, Tristan Johnson; two grandchildren, Caprice Jr and Da’Moni Re’Shun; his mother, JoAnne Anderson; two brothers, Ricky (Junessa) Barnett and Rodney Barnett; two aunts, Linda (Keith) Vaughn and Bernice (Charles) Johnson; one great aunt, Clemmie Mayfield; one uncle, Mervin Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Broom and his grandparents, Mervin and Birddie L. Anderson.
