Perry "Perk" L. Younger, a resident of Mountain View, MO passed away Sunday morning, June 10, 2018 while at his home, due to natural causes. Born June 27, 1938 to William Henry and Ossie Lucinda (Sanders) Younger in Eminence, MO; he was 79 years old.

Perk grew up in the Eminence area and attended elementary school at Alley Springs. He started working at the age of 13 as a logger. When he was 16 he started in the construction business. He later had his own construction company in the St. Louis area, and belonged to the local Carpenter's Union. He and his company built many homes in St. Louis and the surrounding area. He was married to Susie Ann Gregory on March 5, 1961 at Blue Buck Church in Willow Springs. The family moved to Willow Springs in the mid 70's and began a carpet and floor covering business. He was well known and respected as a hard working and family-centered man. When he wasn't working, he loved to hunt, fish, and spending time in his garden. Some of his favorite times were spent studying his Bible and was of the Pentecostal faith. He dearly loved his family and spending time with them. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Perk is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sadie Tedder, two infant grandbabies, Karen Price, Eric Johnson, and a grandson, Kevin Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Susie; two daughters, Robin Bond and her husband, Gary of Anderson, MO and Annette McMahan and her husband, William, also of Anderson; two sons, Henry Younger and his wife, Diane and Clint Younger and his wife, Jackie all of Mtn. View; a brother, Dude Younger and his wife, Vonda of Mtn. Home, AR; a sister, Marie Bryant of Ft. Collins, CO; grandchildren: Shannon Younger, Shelly Godish and her husband, Jeremy; Ricky Allen Price and his wife, Sabrina; Jessica Guy; Jennifer Drake and her husband, Curt; Jalyssa Johnson; Cole Younger; Faith Campbell and her husband, Jared; Terry Martin; Savannah Duncan and her husband, Cory; Perry Younger and Sady Younger. He is further survived by 22 great-grandchildren.

A family night/visitation for Mr. Younger will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Willow Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 14 at 11:00 A.M. at Willow Funeral Home, with Pastor Bill Miller officiating. Interment will be at Rowe Cemetery located off RA Hwy. After turning onto RA Hwy, immediately take the first right to cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home.
