Herman Printz, 73, of Greeley passed away Oct. 29, 2016, at TRU Hospice of Northern Colorado. Herman was born June 19, 1943, in Barnesville, Colo., to Mary (Strogh) and Mitchell Printz Jr. He married Carolyn Edmonds on Oct. 14, 1961.

Herman, a Greeley resident since 1961, began his career working for Monfort Packing Plant where he worked for 17 years; he then worked in the oil fields, and he retired from the city of Evans.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and spending time with his little dog, Kaydee.

He is survived by his son, Mick Printz; daughters, Kristi (Jerry) Sheets and Joleen (James) Stanley; brother, Harvey Printz; sisters, Mary Ann (Adam) Feist and Clara Lynn; and grandchildren, Mitchell, Jennessa, Lexie, Austin and Dylan.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn; parents; five sisters; and three brothers.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Interment at Linn Grove Cemetery, 1700 Cedar Ave., Greeley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to TRU Hospice of Northern Colorado in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 702 13th St., Greeley, Colo. 80631.
