She had been a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region.
Mrs. Tyler graduated from Laconia High School in 1938. She was employed for the Town of Gilford for over 10 years retiring in 1985.
Mrs. Tyler served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Staff Sergeant in Northern France and Rhineland.
Survivors include a daughter Corliss "Lisa" Seipt of Salem; four sons, Robert "Toby" Tyler of Stratham, John Haven Tyler of Fairbanks, Alaska, Donald H. Tyler of East Lebanon, Maine and George B. Tyler of Marblehead Mass., grandchildren; a sister Virginia Smith of Dover.
