Passed away peacefully at his Coupeville home on Tuesday, August 28, 2018.
Mr. Fuller was born in San Jose, CA, on December 21, 1957, to Robert and Arlene (Fingerhut) Fuller. He attended San Jose schools, graduating from high school there. On July 28, 1984, he married Karen Michele Greenwood. The couple continued to live in San Jose, where they raised their family. Ronald was employed by the Cupertino School District, and retired after twenty-five years of service, having become Supervisor of Maintenance. Shortly after, they moved to Coupeville in 2004.
Ronald loved his Whidbey Island home and enjoyed the advantages of living close to the water, including fishing and crabbing. He had also enjoyed bowling, and was an astute "fix-it man", with many handy skills. While in San Jose, he enjoyed coaching youth hockey, and was a "Dad to many." Essentially, he loved his retirement and was fully absorbed in "island time."
Ronald is survived by his wife Karen, at home; daughter Kassandra Oswald (Eric) of Coupeville; son Nikolas Fuller of Oak Harbor; four grandchildren, Parker and Caden Fuller and Braden and Kaylee Oswald; his mother, Arlene Perrin of Lodi, CA; his father, Robert Fuller, of Port Orchard; two brothers, Tony Fuller (Brenda) of Port Orchard and Jeff Skov of Kentucky; and sister Dawn Mathia of Lodi, CA. He was preceded in death by his step-father Oliver Skov and by his dog Nala.
