Theresa Rose Allen, age 72, of De Pere, passed away on Aug. 24, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was a caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was born on July 2, 1946 in Green Bay, WI to the late Joseph and Theresa (Fiel) Maternoski. She married Cletus Allen on Oct. 16, 1965 at St. Mary’s Church Glenmore. Theresa was a homemaker, farmer, religious education teacher, and an amazing mother of 9.

She is survived by her husband Cletus; children Chris (Debbie), Lisa (Keith) Brunner, Heidi Schlies, Steve (Missy), Abraham (Amy), Suzy (Tom) Goral, Anita (Rocky) Koenig, Tina, Tammy (Matt) Staat; MANY grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by sister Marge Labs; Brothers, Roger (Nancy) Maternoski, Joe (Cathy) Maternoski, and Brother in-law Jack Young. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Evelyn Young, infant brother Francis Maternoski, and parents-in-law Alvin and Alice Allen.

Anyone who knows her has been touched by her smiles, hugs and endless love. She always thought of others before herself and never wanted anyone to worry about her. The family would like to thank St. Vincent Hospital and those who have put their heart into caring for her during this difficult time.

Family and friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Rd R, Denmark from 4pm to 7pm, on Monday, Aug. 27, 2018 with a prayer service at 7pm. Visitation will continue at St. Mary Catholic Church, Glenmore, 5840 Big Apple Road, De Pere, on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018 from 9am to 10:45am with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11am.
