Howard Weldon Bailey, 74, Scott avenue, died at 11 a.m. yesterday in the Hancock county hospital following a four-week illness.
Mr. Bailey was born April 30, 1875, at Ottawa, Kansas. His parents were Edward C. and Martha (Wolfington) Bailey.
He is survived by two sisters, Miss Myrtle B. Bailey, a missionary in Hong Kong, and Mrs. P. A. Snyder, 535 Tiffin avenue; and two brothers, Lloyd W. Bailey and James A. Bailey, both of Toledo. Two brothers and a sister are deceased.
The body was taken to the Coldren funeral home where private services were held. Interment was made in Maple Grove cemetery.
