Robert"Bobby"Eugene Edwards, 68, passed away early Monday morning, January 21, 2013, at his home.
He was born in Marion, Indiana on September 23, 1944 to the late Marion and Beatrice(Graves)Edwards.
Bobby was married to Linda Irene(Hoskins)Edwards for 42 years. She preceded him in death on March 7, 2005.
Bobby was an outstanding wireman, and member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 873 of Kokomo, Indiana for 45 years. He retired in 2009.
He liked to go to flea markets, sales, auctions, and loved to "wheel-n-deal". He liked restoring cars, body work, small engines, and working with wood. He was always near when one needed a friend. He helped many people throughout his life. Bobby is and will be sadly missed by everyone that knew him.
Bobby is survived by a son, Brett Eugene(Beth)Edwards; sister-in-law, Jere Edwards; nephew, Chris(Sherri)Edwards; female companion, Rose Mary Bain; sister, Judy(Russell)Westfall, Landess; brothers, Phil(Mattie)Edwards, Montpelier, and Jack(Jackie)Edwards, Marion; grandchildren, Sydnee Marissa Nichole Edwards and Nick Andrew Teague; two nephews; and five nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Beatrice Edwards; and brother, Rick Edwards.
Funeral service was held on Sunday, January 27, 2013 in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, Gas City, Indiana.
