Sami Chahadi Naddaf (Nedeff), 65, of Parkersburg, passed away September 12, 2018 at the Arbors of Marietta.

He was born on October 15, 1952 in Parkersburg, WV and was the son of the late Moses C. and Mary Rebecca Ellison Nedeff.

Sami graduated from Parkersburg High School with the class of 1972.

He worked as a conductor with CSX Transportation Railroad for thirty seven years and was a member of United Transportation Union. Sami had also owned and operated Gatsby' Bar in Parkersburg for several years. He was a gifted musician and in earlier years played frequently in local establishments. He was a talented artist and enjoyed o good game of golf.

Sami is survived by his siblings Susie Cox, Ferris Nedeff, Becky McCrady, Roger Nedeff, Bobby Nedeff and Jennie Pierson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece Dee Dee Johnson.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father John Rice and Father George Nedeff officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
