"Mackie AKA “Grammy” was the love of her husband’s life for 55 years. The mother of 2 sons and 2 daughters in law. The oldest of 10 kids and loved by her siblings, nieces and nephews. The grandmother to 4 grandchildren that she adored. But also a Grammy to the community. She was a member of Vonore Baptist Church. She will be truly missed by many.
Preceded in death by Father, Cecil James Poe and Mother, Mertice Jewel Chastain Poe. Brother, Micheal Lynn Poe and sister Peggy Diane Poe Jones. And survived by husband, James Allison, son Michael and wife Kimberly, son Chad and wife Jennifer. 4 grandchildren, Miranda, Cody, Jake and Brady. Sister and brother in laws, Becky and Mike Hickman, Kathy and Tom Spears, Renda and Dodd Crowe. Brother and sister in laws, Teddy and Brenda Poe, and Benny and April Poe. Sisters, Rosie West and Tammy Poe. Brother in law, Dillard “Frog” Jones.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 am-1:30 pm with service to follow Saturday September 15, 2018 at Vonore Baptist Church in Vonore, TN. Graveside service at 9:00 am Sunday at Grandview cemetery. "
