Wayne Turner of Huntington, Arkansas departed from this earth on September 11, 2018 at the age of 78. He was born August 19, 1940 to the late Isom and Colon (Neisler) Turner in Huntington, Arkansas. He was a retired upholster and long time Curator of the "Huntington Jail" historic site museum.
Wayne leaves behind his wife of 57 years Sue Turner, two daughters; Beverely Turner Stockdale and Cynthia Turner Robertson, one granddaughter Lindsay Deeds, four grandsons; Matthew Morgan, Jordan Stockdale, Blake Morgan and Gavin Campbell, one great-granddaughter Addison Deeds, one great-grandson Keaton Morgan. He is also survived by three brothers; Bill Turner, Gary Turner, Hoyt Turner, two sisters; Gloria Helm, Natalie Holley along with several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his infant daughter Donna Turner.
Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday September 14, 2018 at Westside Pentecostal Church of God in Huntington. Cremation will be under the direction of Martin Funeral Home in Mansfield.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Turner, Gary Turner, Hoyt Turner and Randall Stockdale.
