David Graham Vest, 83, of Pensacola, FL passed away Friday, September 7, 2018.
He was born in Glasgow, Montana on August 29, 1935 to Gaylord Graham and Alyce Elizabeth (Seeley) Vest. He served his country in the Unite States Marine Corps, retiring as a LTCOL on June 30, 1978 with 20 years of service. He was awarded several awards for his service including a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Air Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal. After his military service, Mr. Vest received a Law Degree and practiced law in California. Retiring from his law practice Mr. Vest moved to Pensacola.
A funeral cortege will depart Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 11:45pm Friday, October 5, 2018 to the Naval Aviation Memorial Chapel on NAS Pensacola, for a Memorial Service at 12:30pm. Committal service with Full Marine Honors will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 1:30pm.
