Stanley Edgar Jenkins, Sr., 89, passed away peacefully at Halifax Health Hospice on September 8, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Stanley was born April 22, 1929, in Madisonville, Kentucky to Stanley Lee Jenkins and Virginia Taylor Jenkins.

He also did the bookkeeping for 30 years for his son Steve's screen-printing business, Cubco.
Stanley was a quiet, private man, but he showed his great love for his wife and children in many ways. His children have many fond memories of their yearly vacations and many trips to the local theme parks. He and his wife continued to enjoy traveling together until her death in January 2018. He could also be found spending many hours working in his yard, with an enjoyment of plants and flowers.
Survivors include his devoted children: Deborah Pepiot (Bob), Aragon, GA; Virginia Stellitano (Tony), Daytona Beach, FL; Stanley Jenkins, Jr. (Yvonne), South Daytona, FL; Carole Van Fleet (Rob), Tampa, FL; Stephen Jenkins (Carmen), South Daytona, FL; twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; nieces and a nephew.
Stanley was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Patricia; his mother and father, Stanley and Virginia, and three brothers, James Alfred, Irwin Ray, and Richard Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Halifax Health Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Dale Woodward Funeral Home is in charge. Stanley and Patricia will be laid to rest together at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida, in a private service.
