POTTER (FOWLER), JUDY MAY "NANNY" Of Flint, age 79, died Sunday, September 9, 2018. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home 1225 West Hill Road. Visitation 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial in Riverside Cemetery in St. Charles Township, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Judy was born in St. Charles, Michigan on May 10, 1939, the daughter of Archie and Verona Fowler. On April 4, 1959 she married Gerald Potter in St. Charles, Michigan and they had been married for 59 years. Mrs. Potter was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe. She was strong in her Native American culture and beliefs. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Judy enjoyed spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was loving, spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are husband, Gerald; children, Scott (Kristi) Potter and Rodney (Julie) Potter; grandchildren, Joe Potter, Scotty (Ashley) Potter, Ashley (Josh) Snavely, Arieanna (Gannon) O'Reilly and Alexis Potter; great-grandchildren, Trysten, Rylin, Reese Snavely, Nova and Dakota Potter.
