Teresa attended St. Mary Magdalen & Sacred Heart schools which began her lifelong devotion to her Church & community.
She loved playing Bingo, vacationing at the shore, and crabbing along the Maurice River & its small estuaries. Friends & relatives learned to expect hearing her singing voice when a favorite song was playing; or in Church, when a hymn reached into her heart. If there was a rocking chair available, Teresa would be in it. Whether on a porch or a living room, nothing gave her more joy than rocking. The exception was her love for the Phillies, football & any sport competition during the Olympics. She had a sharp wit & was not timid about voicing her opinions which often left those who loved her, laughing or scratching their heads. She was dearly loved by everyone who knew her.
Teresa worked at Bell Telephone for many years but it was from Prudential that she retired in the late 80’s.
She was predeceased by her parents & all of her siblings including her brothers: Walter, Joseph & Paul as well as her sisters: Helen (Mathis) & Veronica. She also lost her beloved nephews: Ronald & Larry Mathis as well as her niece, Lisa (Moser) whom she helped raise as a child. Teresa is survived by her sister-in-law Lois Quinn, nephews Donald & Michael Quinn, Wayne Mathis & nieces Patricia Walsh & Judy Quinn. She also leaves great nieces, nephews and great-great nephews. This includes great nieces Michelle Rossetti & Krista Moser who lived with her for many years.
