Jean Louise Coleman Jordan wife of Frederick Dudley Jordan Sr. (deceased) departed this earth to meet the Lord on Friday, September 7, 2018 from a long-term illness at the age of 84. She is survived by her four children: Frederick Dudley Jr., Glenn Howard, Cheryl Diane, and Robert Scott, daughter-in-laws Karen Jordan and Theresa Jordan, and 2 sisters, Edwina Drakes and Sherry Pikes, and 1 brother Dallas Thompkins of Shreveport. She leaves a legacy of 9 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and loyal friends. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 3-3:30 p.m. at Greater Liberty Baptist Church, 6209 Desmond St. Cincinnati, OH 45227. Funeral service will follow at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to: Jean L. Jordan Endowment Fund, Office of Institutional Advancement, 128 N. Craig Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15260. The Jean Jordan Endowment fund provides resource assistance to African-Americans and Latinos entering the field of information sciences. Interment will take place on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45232.
