Carolyn L. McGinnis, 71, of Mackinaw, IL, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington. Carolyn was born February 5, 1947 in Bloomington to William and Katherine Edgington Orr. She married Virgil R. McGinnis Sr. June 7, 1963 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Candy (William J.) Haynes of Mackinaw, Stephanie (Glenn) Neeley of Mackinaw, Lesa (Robert) McDaniel of Windsor, three sons, Virgil (Laurie) McGinnis Jr. of Mackinaw, Tim (Lori) McGinnis of Mackinaw, Chris (Libbey) McGinnis of Mackinaw, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four sisters, Marsha McCoy of Bloomington, Debbie Orr of Morton, Dorothy Orr of Arkansas, Mary (Bob) Miller of Missouri, three brothers, Johnny Orr of Pekin, Don Orr of Mackinaw, Mike Orr of Illinois.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ron and Tom, and one sister, Judy.
Services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Harvest Baptist Temple in Mackinaw. The Pastor Tim Severt will officiate. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Friday, September 14th also at Harvest Baptist Temple. Haensel Funeral Home in Mackinaw is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial will be at Mackinaw Township Cemetery.
