Tommy Joe Martin, 62, of Englewood, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018. He was of the Church of God faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, D.C. and Frances Martin. Survivors include brothers and sisters, E.L. Martin, Reece Wayne Martin, Ralph L. Martin, David E. Martin, Alice L. Harrill Crawford, Joyce M. Huckabey, Jane Martin, and Shirley Ivens. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13, at Mars Hill Cemetery with the Rev. David Huckabey officiating. There will be no formal visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made out to Bordwine Funeral Home towards funeral expenses, 203 Ohio Ave., Etowah, TN 37331. Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah is in charge of arrangements.
