Linda Lynch, 62, of Greensboro, passed away Tuesday, September 11 at her home after a courageous battle with a long illness.

A Guilford County native, Linda was born on February 19, 1956, the daughter to the late Coy and Doris Hanner.

Survivors included her husband of 39 years, Mike Lynch of the home; children, Amber Lynch, Christopher Lynch; two grandchildren, Charlie and Nathan Lynch; sister, Kathy Jackson (Frank); brother, Leslie Hanner (Kim) and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved spending time with her family and traveling. She will always be remembered for her loving, giving heart, crafting, crocheting, love for Bon Jovi, fishing and watching it snow. She was a member of Alamance Presbyterian Church and a member of the Joann Camp women's circle. Linda was a 1974 graduate of Southeast Guilford High School in Greensboro, NC. Her kindness and beautiful smile will be missed by many.

A celebration of life will be planned later this year for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her two grandsons: Charlie and Nathan Lynch, her pride and joy.
