Thomas N Thomas, 68, of Peoria, IL passed away at 2:35am Saturday, September 8, 2018 at his residence.
He was born May 3, 1950 in Peoria Heights the son of Robert and Kathryn Mitchell Thomas.
He first married Susie Van Dyke Jan. 11,1971 in Peoria, IL. she passed away Nov.6,2005.
He is married to his beautiful wife Deb and the two were very active with bird watching and long adventurous car rides.
He has three beautiful children Tonya (Will) Koontz, Tamara (Jason) Contreras, and Stacy Martin. Along with his children he has six grandchildren and one great grandson. Tom has many brothers and sisters including all of his in laws that he loved dearly.
Tom was a very proud Vietnam Veteran and has held positions such as commander in post 2602 Peoria Heights and at the American Legion in Villa Rica, GA post 70. He loved fishing and watching his Cubbies and Bears with his special buddies.
Per Tom’s request there will be no services. A celebration of his life will be announced in the coming weeks to all of his beloved family and friends. Cheers to Tom!
