Gladys Robertson Watson, 86, of Bedford died Friday, August 24, 2018. She was born in Moneta, VA on July 11, 1932, a daughter of the late Nicholas Hammond Robertson and Virginia Saunders Wickham. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Randolph Peyton Watson; and her step-father, William Wickham.

She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. Gladys is survived by her son, Thomas “Tommy” Watson and wife, Cathy; granddaughters, Angela Diane Sheriff and husband Brandon, Elizabeth Ann Watson; and brother, William “Billy” Robertson and wife Carolyn.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, at Main Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Ecklund officiating. A private family burial will follow the service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Main Street United Methodist Church or Bedford Christian Ministries.
