Joann Gills Butler, 80, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 5:22 a.m. on Monday, September 10, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Butler was of the Christian faith and was a retired bookkeeper for B. Butler & Sons Construction.
Mrs. Butler is survived by her daughter, Deborah Butler Collier of Paducah; two sons, Michael Dean Butler and wife, Paula of Paducah and Timothy David Butler and wife, Caroline of Paducah; five grandchildren, Johnie Joseph Collier (Sarah), Katherine Elizabeth Butler, Tiffany Nicole Terpstra (Griffin), Emily Kaye Butler and Jo Anna Molene Butler all of Paducah; ten great grandchildren, Tonya McGregor, Kayleigh Collier, Kyler Collier, Bobby Collier, Keaton Upchurch, Lola Collier, Konnor Upchurch, Adeline Butler, Sebastian Keeling and Stella Terpstra; three great-great grandchildren, Cory, Ian and Savanna McGregor; a sister, Annes Patch and husband Lavelle of Paducah; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Dean Butler; a sister, Thelma Brower Venters. Her parents were, Jeremiah Gills and Elsie P. Kennedy Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Yates officiating. Burial will follow at Brook Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
