MUNDELEIN - Anne (Johnson) Davidson, age 62, passed away on May 17, 2017. After many years and recent months of acute suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Emphysema, Anne passed away peacefully in Hospice care at Weiss Memorial Hospital, surrounded by family. A Memorial will be held at Kristan Funeral Home, Mundelein, IL 60060 on Sunday, June 4, 2017. Visitation will be from 10am-2pm with a memorial service at 2pm, followed by a luncheon for friends and family. Born March 19, 1955, the middle daughter of the late Elizabeth and Wallace Johnson, Anne is survived by her only child Braden (Christine Berg) Davidson, sisters, Jill (Eric) Dotson and Mary Ellen (Bruce) Rosendahl, nieces Paula and Patti Grant, nephew Jimmy Allard, and numerous cousins. Anne was expecting the arrival of her first grandchild in August and will be supporting her children from afar as they embark on parenthood. Anne spent her career as a skilled Radiology Technician at Highland Park Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital, Gurnee Radiology Center, Condell Hospital, and the James A. Lovell VA Hospital. Anne was a passionate cook and embraced all people she met with delicious goodies and her vivacious and talkative nature. Above all, Anne lived a life of Motherhood to her devoted son Braden and daughter-in-law Christine, and to many others who considered her their "second mom." The family would like to encourage everyone to consider donating to the as a way of honoring Anne's memory. While Anne's strong personality masked her daily struggle, the family feels that a smoke free world and greater access to health care for all would have benefitted her and the millions who live with chronic lung conditions.
