William, 82, of Harrison, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018. William was the son of Russell R. and June E. (Sanderson) Tuttle.

Bill graduated from Northern High School in 1952. Bill honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and the Army National Guard during the Vietnam War.

On June 29, 1968 in Flint, Michigan, Mr. Tuttle was united in marriage to Ms. Barbara Sue LaMay . Mr. Tuttle had resided in Harrison since 1980, moving from Linden, Michigan. He retired from the City of Flint in 1980 after almost thirty years of dedicated service.

Bill enjoyed gardening, yard work and spending time outdoors. He spent many hours reading detective and western novels. Bill was known to tell a good story or two throughout the years. His greatest love, was spending time with his wife, Barbara.

Surviving Mr. Tuttle is his loving wife of fifty years, Mrs. Barbara Sue Tuttle of Harrison, three daughters; Vicki LaMay, Barbara Rogers and Roseann Lopez, three sons; Anthony LaMay, Ronald LaMay and David LaMay, five grandchildren; Robert LaMay, Marcus LaMay, Anthonie LaMay, Michelle LaMay and Scott Tuttle, one great-granddaughter, Bailey LaMay, one brother, Russel D. Tuttle and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Tuttle was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Mr. Tuttle were held in his honor on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Pastor Connie Bongard officiating. Burial will be in Flushing City Cemetery, Flushing, Michigan.
