Nellie L. Mitchell, 71, of Peoria, passed away at 12:10 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018 at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Nellie was born on January 13, 1947 in Peoria, a daughter of Martin Edward and Bessie Charlotte (Nott) Mitchell. They preceded her in death, along with one brother, Martin Mitchell.
She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Webb, Stephanie Webb, Nellie Lynette Hunter, Krista Mitchell, Nellie Christina Mitchell, Jade Mitchell, Natashea Mitchell and Heather (Floyd) Dailey; siblings, Harvey (Bonnie) Mitchell, Edward (Patricia) Mitchell, Craig Mitchell and Victoria Mitchell; grandsons, Kenneth Cook and James Webb and a host of nieces and nephews.
Nellie worked for Caterpillar for 35 years. She retired in 2001.
